9/19 - Bookmobile visit 10:00 - 10:45

9/23 - School Portrait Day - all morning

9/24 - Wildcats assembly 1:00 pm F/H

9/27 - Levi Stadium Field Trip - all day

Reminder: Every Monday morning, we meet as a school, in our Fellowship Hall. A staff member reads aloud a book, announcements are given and we do a student lead flag salute. All are welcome to attend. This week I will be reading "we don't eat our CLASSMATES" by Ryan T. Higgins. Students are encouraged to sign up for a week to read too. If there are other family members just itching to read aloud to our school, that can be calendared as well... :D

As a reminder for our 5th and 6th grade families (and future 5th &  6th grade families) - This weekend is the Walden West Open House. Here is the link:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b054eaeab2ea6ff2-walden2  If you want food, it looks like you need to RSVP. This event is open to all interested families.

Invaluable Resources: I am often asked for resources outside of our school for your learning differently children. One of the most comprehensive resources that I know of is The Children's Health Council. Their main offices are in Palo Alto and San Jose. They have an extensive list of resources, ranging from events to service providers and education.  I am attaching the link here: https://www.chconline.org/community-education/  Additionally, there is a mini-conference coming up on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020 that sounds like it would be beneficial for all stakeholders. Here is the link for that: https://www.edrevsf.org/mini-conference/?utm_source=EdRev%20Primary%20Nav&utm_medium=Mini-Conference%20Dropdown&utm_campaign=EdRev%20Mini-Conference  All in all, they are a wonderful organization.

Donation request for enrichment's: Mrs. Romo would love gift cards to "Blicks." They are purveyors of fine art supplies. :D

Warmest regards,
