TGIF (Tiny Gorillas Imply Fierceness) Thursday Edition

My Weekly Friday Message 2/14/2019

Dear Stellar Families,

As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow or Monday. Likely none of you need reminding, but I would be remiss in not mentioning it.

Cold and flu season has hit us pretty hard here at Stellar, at least as far as the staff is concerned. All of us, with the notable exception of Mrs. Romo and Mrs. Roberts, are largely down for the count. Stuffy noses, sore throats and general fatigue have kicked us pretty hard. So this 4 day weekend (3 day weekend for us) is a welcomed and needed break.

As another reminder: We are still collecting: Box Tops for Education,  Supplies for our Pets in Need project, and Yearbook ads.  For our veteran families - recall that last year's yearbook was free to you but ONLY because of the ads what were sold in advance.

Thanks for our delicious Friendship, Heart Healthy Salad. I have attached a couple of pictures below. Featured are: before, during and after. Enjoy!

We had a visitor from Seattle WA today. Mr. Stacy Turner who is the Head of School at The  Hamlin Robinson School came by to check us out. He will be leading the Professional Development Day for teachers that we are having tomorrow. He has already decided he loves Stellar and all who dwell within. I never doubted that he would find our little oasis fulfilling.
