Stellar Academy is a diverse collection of education professionals, working with students, experiencing symptoms of dyslexia, to teach strategies, discover and develop strengths, and foster classroom success. Each teacher at Stellar Academy (and several of the support staff) has completed intensive postgraduate work in the Slingerland® approach. Together we strive to unlock the door of language for our students.
We are educators specializing in helping
students unlock the door of language. Our
expertise in teaching students strategies
and nurturing their strengths to navigate
around weaknesses, along with specialized
instruction, all work together to increase
classroom success. Our intended result is
students who become productive citizens
of our community.
